Our faculty, which started teaching in 2019-2020 academic year, was founded in the first five schools of Samsun University, which were established with Appendix Article 185 of Article 2809 which were stated Article 7 of Law No 7141 under the “Law on Amendment to the Decrees of higher Education Law and some Law” published in the official newspaper on may 18, 2018 one of them.

There are six departments in our faculty, namely Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Fundamental Sciences. The language of education is Turkish and the education period is 4 years. There are 10 professors, 13 associate professors and 25 doctoral faculty members, 18 research assistants working in our faculty. The primary aim of the faculty is to train qualified individuals for their city, region, country and world of science. In addition, it is to contribute to the development of students and academicians by increasing their efficiency and productivity.
